The first golden record has been achieved by the new timbiriche banda (La Nueva Banda Timbiriche), due to the broad acceptance their first record has obtained among the mexican youngsters and among those who according to their birth certificates aren't that young any more but have remained young at heart. Now, the new Timbiriche Band will be very busy with their activities of saying thank you to their fans, e.g. with signing autographs at the distribution centers for their record and, of course, with the activities that will go along with their concerts in the Mexican Republic and abroad.

The New Timbiriche Band is the product of a long process of selection which was transmitted on a weekly base by the Televisa corporation through their Stars Channe where the actual members of the New Timbiriche Band showed their talent, staying as the winners against the rejected ones who week after week had to forget and bury their dream of becoming a famous super star due to the lack of talent in comparison with the selected mega talents. They had it coming or there simply was not enough space for everyone , time will tell us , we're sure.
